dream home...

Sandra Foster's dream home doesn't include a bathroom or a kitchen.

It was a complete labor of love to turn it into her personal
shabby-chic retreat.

She lives, with her husband, across the river in their mobile home that does include a bath and kitchen, but this place is truly inspiring.

She did the renovation and furnished it herself for $3,000.

These type stories should be on TV.
This is inspiring, real life design by people that fight for everything they have and those stories should be told.

You can read all about it as well as see some before and after pics, along with the trailer she shares with her husband, here: NYTimes

too young...

Too Sad.

So Talented.

cool story...

Imagination and fearlessness at work.

Zach Motl's 178 square foot apartment in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. Nice.

Article by Penelope Green

Especially love the last two paragraphs of the story on how Mr. Motl got the job.

Nicely done, Sir. Nicely done.

I too was thrown out of antique stores (thrift stores, furniture stores, carpet stores...the list is long and sad) when I was a mere wee lad. "What does a kid want from in here?"
